Gold Digger's of 1933.... take two.

In my opinion, this picture was probably taken within minute of the other "Gold Digger's photo. The interesting story behind this is that I found it in a frame behind "take one". Had I not been curious as to what might also be in there, I would not have found it. To look at it (in the photo's border) you can tell that it was not used as a publicity photo, but might have been an alternate. I think a friend or two has commented to me that they like this one better, I guess the powers-that-be had other ideas. I do have to wonder how many years this photo languished behind the better-known photo..... nearly 80 years perhaps? That said, I hope that you might enjoy looking at both.

Gold Digger's of 1933.... take one.

Bonnie Bannon, yep... that ain't changed.
This picture I found in my late Grandmother's collection. This was probably the picture most used in the publicity photos from "Gold Digger's". I like it for a lot of reasons, but not the least of which is my Grandmothers hand-written stats on the back, a practice done by actors and actresses for years.
